For applications that users want to run directly on their machine, we normally deploy FileMaker Pro, an excellent, powerful software package that allows us to rapidly deploy functional solutions. For applications that require more customization, or for web sites, we use MySQL as the database engine. We have deployed many systems using both of these database engines and will determine which is the most appropriate fit for you.
